Continue comparing between stores
Save real searched products and prices on your device, mark purchases, revisit model, size and check dates, and show a short phrase to store staff. Export and restore a backup.
Saved lists and conversion when disconnected
After opening online and downloading the app shell, saved lists can reopen offline. Conversion needs a cached reference rate no older than seven days. New product and price searches require a connection, as do OCR language files that have not yet been downloaded.
Evidence alongside prices
See product sources, retailer pages, currency, size and check date. Sold-out offers and conflicting sizes are excluded from price differences. Unknown barcodes are not guessed into another product; no search result does not prove a product is unavailable in a country.
Supported scope and limitations
Market settings cover Korea, Japan, China and Spain, with KRW, JPY, CNY and EUR. App UI is Korean, Japanese and Chinese. Not every product has a verifiable listing. Prices and inventory are not guaranteed live. Product-price estimates exclude shipping, card fees, customs and tax refunds.
Photos and device data
Product identification may send photos to OpenAI. Cartrip does not retain recognition photos. Price-tag OCR runs in the browser. Shopping lists stay on your device and can be lost when browser data is cleared; export a backup. Existing price-record cloud copies are made only when explicitly selected.
Questions
Can I search without a barcode?
Yes, use a product photo with a readable brand or name. Uncertain identities require candidate confirmation or another photo.
Does no result mean it is not sold at home?
No. A listing or explicit sold-out evidence can be shown; lack of a search result is not proof of absence.
Is it free?
Device conversion and storage are available. Product-photo and retailer searches currently have a limited free allowance, with a message when the limit is reached.
